How to Know if the Time is Right
If you’re feeling burned out and stuck, you may be hoping that the universe is going to throw you a sign that it’s the right time to make a change, to invest in yourself, to finally say that you’ve had enough.
Here’s what I’ve seen over and over again—if you’re wondering if it’s the right time, odds are good that you’re more likely to err on the side of waiting too long.
When we’re putting something off or sitting on a choice, we often think that what we’re doing is waiting for more information or for things to become clearer.
What we don’t realize is that, more often than not, a decision has already been made. What we’re waiting for is the opportunity. For conditions to be just right. For everything to line up just so.
This is where many of us get stuck. Sometimes for weeks or months. Oftentimes for years.
And then one day, we finally hit the breaking point, just do the damn thing already, and then wonder why we waited so long.
Most people who consider hiring a life coach think about it for months or years. They know something needs to change, but they're waiting for the right time, the right conditions, the right opportunity.
It’s not until they reach the breaking point that they finally take the plunge. And once they do? Life starts to change in ways they never expected, and they can’t imagine why they waited so long.
Here’s a reminder to you that the right time will likely never present itself to you—it’s something that you have to decide and claim for yourself.
And doing so sooner rather than later can spare you weeks, months, maybe even years of trudging through your days while you wait for your life that’s on the other side.
Take it from my client Kristy:
If you are like me, you had an interest in life coaching but there were many obstacles and excuses for why now wasn’t the right time. Let me say, I wish I would have started sooner. It’s been life-changing not just for me but for my family, friends, and co-workers.
The past 12 weeks have taught me what I want and what I’m worth. During my time with Jenn, I took back the reins and felt empowered to start seeking happiness for myself. The tools she provides are invaluable.
I now have the confidence to trust in my own strengths and abilities whether that be at work, in my marriage, as a momma or as a friend. I’m able to create space in my life for things that can’t be planned. I can focus on myself without guilt and know that I’m worth the time!
If you’ve been thinking about life coaching and are waiting for the right opportunity, I can tell you with confidence—the right time is now. I tell you this because I don’t want you to wait for a sign. I don’t want you to spend weeks or months or even years suffering and then find yourself saying, “I only wish I’d done it sooner.”
I want to claim the right time for yourself. Right now. Hop over here to learn more about working with me.
