Journal Prompts for One Year of COVID-19

two stacked journals and two pencils

One. Year. It’s hard to sit with the enormity of it all.

I remember when the idea of two weeks of lockdown felt truly impossible.

Oh, how far we’ve come, my friends.

I’m sitting a lot with the heaviness right now. With an ache in my heart for all that we’ve lost. With the exhaustion that comes with hitting the one-year pandemic wall. With knowledge that we’ve cracked open so many broken places that needed to be exposed.

And amongst all that heaviness, I also know this: I won’t let this time pass without taking forward all that I’ve learned. Without celebrating how remarkably strong and resilient we are.

Have you taken any time yet to reflect on the last year?

Have you celebrated all the ways you’ve learned to cope with uncertainty? Made note of what you’ve learned about how to care for yourself? Reflected upon what you know to be true?

You deserve the time and space to honor all that you’ve felt this year, all the ways you’ve adapted, and all of the lessons you’ve learned.

I’ve created some free journal prompts to help you do just that.

Give yourself 30 minutes, create a cozy sanctuary for yourself (I’m thinking blanket + warm tea + soothing music),, and give yourself the space to honor all of the amazing ways you’ve found your resilience, cared for yourself, and tapped into your joy in the last year.

Because THAT deserves to be celebrated, my friend.

I see you and honor all of your strength.
