Five Signs That It’s Time for A Life Coach
How do you know if life coaching is for you, or if the time is right? Here are five clues:
1) You don’t know what you want, but you know it’s not THIS.
You’re pretty clear about what’s not working in your life, but you have no idea what to do about it. You don’t know what you want. You occasionally entertain an idea (travel the world? become a zookeeper?) and then immediately dismiss it as impractical and impossible.
2) You feel overwhelmed or out of balance.
You’re juggling all. the. things. Every day feels like a race to the finish line. You’re exhausted with trying to keep up with it all, and you’re over trying to check off all the boxes. You long for more ease in your life. You daydream about naps, solo vacations, and a personal assistant/chef/shopper/cleaner/driver.
3) You feel like something is missing, but you can’t put your finger on it.
You’ve got all the good things. Everything is. . . fine. Maybe everything is even great. But you can’t help thinking there’s got to be something more (this can’t be it, right?).
4) You know a big change is coming.
Is there a transition on the horizon? Maybe you have a baby on the way, you’re nearing retirement, it’s time for a career change, or you’re finally ready to pack up your family and move to that little town by the beach. You’re getting clear about what’s next, but you have no idea how to take the first steps. You have lots of decisions to make, and they’re majorly stressing you out.
